Information

Tickets for St Stephen’s Hall and the related exibition provide a 1-hour visiting time. in groups. Visitors can choose personally guided tours in groups or individual digital tablet tours. Please consider these tour differences when you puchase your ticket.

Tickets are available via online registration or at our ticket office. Tickets at the ticket office are sold for the next available tour, based on current visitor numbers.

Due to the works being carried out, starting from 1 February 2024 and continuing for several weeks, the escalator in the Neo-Renaissance Garden will be closed. From 15th March 2024 the lift from the Foundry Courtyard and the Mária lift will operate.

Adults – with tablet: HUF 3900
Children, students, seniors – with tablet: HUF 1950

St Stephen’s Hall and Budapest History Museum are accessible via the same entrance. Tickets to both venues are available at the same ticket counter. Combined tickets valid for both St Stephen’s Hall and all exhibitions of Budapest History Museum - Castle Museum are also available. This ticket category valid for personally guided tours in St Stephen's Hall, however excludes guided tours of Budapest History Museum - Castle Museum.

Combined tickets, adults – with tablet: HUF 4500
Combined tickets, children, students, seniors – with tablet: HUF 2250

SZÉP-cards are accepted.
With tickets bought for St Stephen's Hall also valid for the following exibitions of Budapest History Museum – Castle Museum: Buda, the „Seat and Throne of Royalty” – The Mediaeval Royal Palace and The Royal Palace – the Castle of Culture, The History of Buda Palace from 1686 to the present.
